Hi Hoomans,

I am Daisy – “The Dog Fairy”, and my big bro Upmanyu – “The Canine Buddy”. Destiny brought us together for a purpose.

To make a difference in the lives of stray animals – one furry kid at a time. “How?” you may ask, and rightly so.

For big bro, it all began six years ago when he spent time with stray dogs, cats and cows – feeding them and petting them. Our family was unaware of what he was doing early in the morning and late at night. The deep love for animals ignited a flame within his heart.

Driven by compassion and a desire to make a difference, he embarked on rescuing and helping cats and dogs in need. Our dad, an animal lover, was happy to chip in when required. Over these six years, numerous furry friends have found their way into his care, each with a unique tale and a longing for a loving home.

Since our mom was scared of dogs and cats back then, Upmanyu could not adopt one.

But all that was destined to change. Fast forward to March 2020, the first day of the lockdown, big bro was peeping out from his bedroom window facing the society entrance and guess what he saw!

Me, yes, me. Back then, I was a tiny puppy and had no idea how I had landed where I was. Big bro ran down the stairs, picked me up and the rest is history.

I was named Daisy, and despite the hesitation, Mom came around to dote on me. I was lucky to have found my loving home, but what about the thousands of strays out there, battling hunger, heat, cold, and, to make it worse, hostile humans. With the whole family on board, we began contemplating how to change things.

“Big things have small beginnings”, it is said. While many animal lovers are out there, they are massively outnumbered by the not-so-friendly ones. Every day, horror stories of animal abuse come to light, and the community of animal lovers, despite their best efforts, fall short of resources to address the prevailing issues. So, here we are to make a difference.

Our mission is to ensure that each stray lives a respectable life. And the one most crucial thing that volunteers, feeders, and NGOs desperately need is money.

To date, whatever animal welfare work my family has done has been purely using their personal funds. However, to make things better, we need more funds. We do not seek donations. What we ask instead is that:

You follow us on our social media handles – it can eventually generate some funds.
Buy pet insurance for your furry babies from us. It will not only protect your fur babies but also reduce the number of abandoned pets when they’re due to a medical problem.

So far, we have added a few young and motivated Didis and Bhaiyas who are chipping in with their efforts.
